Asked and answered.
The short version of everything we get asked — formulas, applicators, how to use it, and the practical stuff.
What's in the formula?
The oil blends jojoba, apricot kernel, and pomegranate seed oils, anchored with ultra-refined liquid lanolin and finished with vitamin E. The all over balm is its own richer formula — the same lanolin, the same seed oils, beeswax and carnauba wax — and it also contains petrolatum.

Oil or balm — which do I need?
They do different jobs. The oil softens and repairs — it’s the daily nourishment step, made to absorb deeply and nourish longer. The balm is its own product: a richer, lanolin-anchored formula for anywhere skin runs dry — cuticles, knuckles, elbows, knees, feet, heels. It heals cracked skin and holds moisture in through hand-washing and a full day’s work. Applied over oiled cuticles at night, it locks the oil in too.
If you’re choosing one, start with the oil. If your hands work for a living — or winter is coming — add the balm. Here’s the longer answer.
Brush or dropper — what's the difference?
Nothing — inside the bottle. It’s the exact same oil; only the applicator changes. The brush is the one for out the door: mess-free, bag-friendly, thirty seconds at a desk. The dropper is the one for home: one deliberate drop per nail at the end of the day. One oil, home and away — many people keep both.
How do I use it?
Sweep or drop the oil along each cuticle, massage until the shine settles, and repeat daily. The balm is its own step: a little on cuticles, knuckles, knees, feet, heels — anywhere dry — best overnight or ahead of a hard day. Applied over oiled cuticles at night, it locks the oil in too. The whole thing takes about thirty seconds. How to use it, step by step.
Does the formula include animal-derived ingredients?
Yes. Our formulas include lanolin, which is derived from sheep’s wool. We chose it because it does what seed oils alone can’t: it penetrates into the outer skin, holds moisture there, and keeps working between washes. Ours is the ultra-refined grade, the purest there is. It goes in every bottle, and it is why our products are not vegan. Why one badge: Made on Merit.
When will orders ship?
Every order ships from South Jordan, Utah, typically the following business day. Ground (3 to 5 day) is $5.95, and free on orders of $60 and up; Express (2 to 3 day) is $12.95. Tracking lands in your inbox the moment the label prints. We ship within the United States.
What if I don't like it?
Send it back. Every order on this site carries a 30-day guarantee: if the oil or the balm isn’t for you, return it within 30 days of delivery, opened or not, for a refund to your original payment. You cover the return shipping. Write to us with your order number and we’ll send the instructions.
Is it safe over polish, gel, or acrylics?
Yes. The oil goes on the cuticle and the skin framing the nail, not the nail plate, so it lives alongside polish, gel, and acrylics rather than under them; it is a manicure-station staple for that reason. Two rules keep everyone happy: apply it after a fresh set rather than before (polish and gel bond to a clean, dry nail, so oil goes on once the service is finished), and once the set is on, daily oil is what keeps the skin around it looking as good as the nails.
