Every fruit keeps its valuables in the same place. Not the flesh. The seed is the vault. Inside each pip, a plant packs the concentrated oils that a whole future tree is supposed to live on until it can fend for itself.
That density is the entire premise of our company. It’s in the name — “pippi” for the pips, “bloom” for what shows up when you use them well — and it’s the reason our formula starts where it starts.
Where the category stops, and where we start
Here’s a quiet fact about the cuticle-oil aisle: turn most bottles around and the label is essentially one ingredient — jojoba. It’s a fine ingredient. For most brands, it is also the entire formula.
We built our blend from three seed oils, each pulling its own weight.
Jojoba seed oil is the base — light, skin-friendly, fast to settle, the backbone of the whole category. The difference is that our formula starts here instead of ending here.
Apricot kernel oil is pressed from the apricot’s pip — a silky, fast-absorbing oil that repairs dry edges and helps everything else in the blend absorb more quickly and fully, so it feels like something you can apply at a keyboard, not something you have to schedule around.
Pomegranate seed oil is the hero and the namesake — a rich, warm oil that softens and conditions the small, hard-working skin around the nail. If our brand has a single ingredient signature, it’s the jewel-red pip this oil comes from.
A drop of vitamin E — tocopherol on the label — keeps the oils fresh and finishes the blend.
Together they make the oil we bottle two ways — a brush that travels and a dropper that stays home. Same formula, home and away.
The anchor: lanolin
Here’s the problem with seed oils: the world keeps washing them off. This is where lanolin comes in.
Lanolin is derived from wool, and it’s one of the most trusted ingredients in skin care for a simple reason: it stays. Close enough to the skin’s own lipids to penetrate into the outer skin, it holds moisture and nourishment there instead of on the surface, so the seed oils keep doing their work — softening, repairing, strengthening the look of cuticles and nails — well after the shine of application fades. It’s the difference between a formula that visits and a formula that lingers. Our oils are built to absorb deeply and nourish longer, and lanolin is the “longer.”
The seed oils are the nourishment. Lanolin carries it in, and makes sure it stays.
The bloom
The payoff for all this chemistry: hands that look fresh, cared for, and put-together. Cuticles that sit smooth instead of catching and peeling. Nails that look stronger because the skin around them finally is. The quiet confidence of hands you don’t think about hiding. That’s the bloom — and because the lanolin keeps it where you put it, it is still there tomorrow. A bloom that lasts.
